Our 2016 Full Summer Scholarship Winner is…..

Holly Devorick!  Holly will be attending our Boardman Campus for the Managing Cosmetology program.  Holly said that nothing will get in her way of completing this course. Quoting Holly, “There is nothing more rewarding then helping someone feel beautiful.  I am eager to learn and grow in this field.  Knowledge is power and the trends are forever changing making this an exciting and long lasting career.  It’s absolutely a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together, and this industry is definitely mine!”  Holly fell in love with the beauty industry at a very young age as she watched her mother transform herself each day for work.  She would watch her hands as she styled her hair, and try to mimic how she would apply her makeup.

This year it was especially hard deciding on the winner of the full scholarship; we had so many qualified applicants!  After speaking with several references for all the applicants, reviewing their applications and essays, it was a unanimous decision that Holly was the right choice for this scholarship!  We are excited for Holly to begin this next chapter in her life.  Congratulations Holly!
